Tour by car to over 1.800m above sea level, an approximately 45 km long road from Ried to Hippach with magnificent views.
The Grier mountaing cottag is a natural paradise, situated at 1.786 m in Hintertux. The mountain cottage can be reached easily via four hiking routes, all approximately with one hour walking time.
For families, we recommend a ride on the Ziller Valley steam train. Following and in combination with, we suggest the continuation of one’s journey with the “Achensee” rack railway. (Combination ticket inclusive a boot ride on the lake can be obtained at the station.)
The Swarovski Crystal World invites you to an enchanted journey through a dreamland of fairytales.
This storage dam, situated on the end of the Ziller Valley is definitely worth a visit. Open from the end of May to the end of October. Reached via a toll road. Even guided tours through the dam are offered.
Not only a paradise for skiers, also hikers who take the ski-lift cabin to the top, are rewarded by the summer pastures or the “Tuxer Ferner” house, both are well combined with the “Spannagel” caves
Especially for families, a ride on the steam rack railway from Jenbach to the Achen Valley, followed by a boat ride on the Achen Lake or an easy hike along the lake to the “Gais” cottage, (approximately 1 hour)
